tonight's party got cancelled, so now i'm just hanging out in my pj's, working on some new stuff for the page, and writing e-mails. i'm bummed becasue i was looking forward to this party, but i guess it's for the best because today was super busy, i'm tired, and i have to work early tomorrow. i hate working the early shift.

i saw psycho ex-girlfriend about six days ago, but didn't get around to actually listening to the voicemails until last night. it was pretty freaky, and definetly funny, but i have to wonder: what kind of asshole would do this to someone who obviously has emotional and psychological issues? i mean, it's funny, but keep in mind that we're only hearing what he heard. i'd love to hear this girl's side of the story.

i'm totally addicted to this

i'm totally addicted to this italian soda... galvanina limonata soda. it's like fizzy lemonade and it's sweet but tart at the same time. i get it at trader joes and i could just drink it all day long. mmmmm. the cedrata soda is good too - also lemon but a lot sweeter. next time i head towards trader joes i think i'll also try the rasberry soda.

this is insane - the books for one of my classes, 15 books, was $170. one hundered and seventy dollars!!!! i figure, at least they're neat books that won't become fully useless after the quarter is over, but still, $170?? geez.

back to school tomorrow... yuck. i am not ready for vacation to be over. oh well. at least i got myself a new dress/jacket... it's suppsed to be a shirt-dress but i like it so much better as a long jacket. now i'm working on a knitted head scarf to match it. let's see if i can finish by friday so i can wear it to the party!

got a big envelope with graduation stuff in it today. it seems like only yesterday i was in high school and now i'm graduating from college?? wow. it's so incredibly expensive though... cap and gown, announcements, diploma frame, photos... i think i'll be scooting by with the bare minuimun. ;-) gotta save for my summer vacation trip!

i hate watching the oscar montage of all the people who have passed away in the last year. it's already a bummer to know that alec guiness or jason robards or walter matthau will naver make another movie... this is like a painful reminder.

this is the most beautiful song i've heard in a long, long time. it's one of those ones that just makes your heart ache... i love the combination of the piano, violins and david gray's lovely voice. you really should listen to it, because lord knows i can't accurately describe a piece of music to save my life... but then again i'm of the school of thought that music can't really be described in words, it has to be heard to be truly appreciated and understood. so listen to this one... i promise you won't be dissapointed.

well, last night was a blast! autumn and samara came over and we had a girls' night... a yummy dinner, horoscopes and fortunes, madonna and movies. it's ben a long time since i've done that. ;-)
tonight? well, since i was half asleep at work today (and still am right now), i think i'll just stay right here, scan some photos, work on my booty mix and get to bed early. mmm. bed. ;-)

i was so tired last

i was so tired last night that i went to bed before ten. i guess that's what i get for only getting 4-5 hours of sleep two days in a row.the only downfall of going to bed really early is that i got up really early... i've been up since 8:45 and now i'm just trying to kill time before i go pick up the photos from friday night's party at the second street house.

on an unrelated note, i'm working on a mix cd over spring break - of all those funky, booty-shaking songs that you want to hear when you're at a party. i already have a few... no diggity, nothing but a g thang, baby got back, bust a move, etc. i'm looking for more. if you have any suggestions, mail me or drop me an im at ariel9779.

so, after spending tuesday night

so, after spending tuesday night at my cast party and hanging out at 99 bottles until 1am, and going to bed at 2, i was up at 6:30 so i could have breakfast and go to that hellish final yesterday. I think i did really well! i figured, if i was home i wouldn't be studying anyway, might as well go out and have fun, right?

so, i just watched bittersweet motel for the first time, and, wow, it was just what i needed for my phish withdrawal. although i do tend to agree with what's been said about the movie - too much of trey, not enough of the other guys, and the fan interveiws were totally lame. on the whole, though, i loved it. page was really high in the mix and that was nice.

i've been having really bizarre

i've been having really bizarre dreams lately. not bizarre in the sense that strange things happen, actually, the stuff that happens is usually fairly normal. it's the people in my dreams that are strange. for example, last night: two guys from high school that i haven't seen since high school, a girl i lived next door to over 10 years ago, my two best friends, a few people from the show i'm working on right now, and my godmother, of all people. it's such a bizarre combination that i can't even begin to figure out what it means.

i really hope that whoever

i really hope that whoever decided that slinging hay all over the mainstage someday can understand how i'm feeling right now. for some reason, last night, instead of just making me sniffly, the hay decided to inflict me with the worst asthma i've ever had in my life. normally i just get it when i've been running to the bus stop or whatnot (hence the title exercise-induced asthma) but right now every breath takes effort and i'm terrified that i'm going to have an asthma attack or something. stupid fucking hay.
