From Facebook:
Earliest movie theater memory - seeing E.T. at century 22 with my grama in 1982 (age 3).
What's yours?
Craig: Seeing Ghostbusters at a drive-in theater in 1984 (age 4)
Paul M: Probably seeing Tootsie at the drive-in. I was seven and my parents couldn't get a sitter. ET at the same drive-in was right about the same time.
Gil: Yeah my mom took me to the drive in to see it
Chris: Watching Star Trek IV at Century 25 with my Uncle Doug and my cousin Kate. I distinctly remember the logo for the Monterrey Bay Aquarium and Spock swimming with the whales. That must have been in 1986.
Audrey: I feel so old... Oliver Twist. My mom took me when I was 3 or 4. I don't know what theater, but I do remember having the movie program for a very long time. Yes they used to hand out programs in the ancient olden days.
Maya: Beauty and the Beast in the mid 90's. Only we didn't get to see the whole movie because it blacked out because of a storm right when he was turing into a prince again from a beast.
John G: my dad was on call 24/7 for the ambulance. the telephone operators were next door to the theater and he would tell them to come and get him. we did not have dial phones. 1949.
Dave L: Probably "Snow White" with my aunt and uncle. Must have been 1956.
Lexi: Summer Rental with John Candy. I looked so much like the little girl in the movie (even had the same clothes) that people were asking me for autographs as we left. I think I was like 4. I remember we took a pillow for me in case I fell asleep. Like a full size pillow.
Mary: Pete's dragon. Still my fav. Had the narrated record too.

You would think people would have figured this out by now: tailgating will not make the person in front of you go faster.
In fact, it might even encourage them to go slower. So stop it!

It's times like this I'm happy to pay $75 a month for smartphone. We just avoided a 15 mile backup on I5 where cars are going an average of 5 mph. Winning!
