cd's

ok, so here's the deal - i have some free cd vouchers from bmg, and i can't decide what to get. so i'm letting you decide for me. what's the album (or two or three) that i really should have? nothing too obscure, this is bmg we're talking about. leave a comment, and in a little bit i'll post what i order. ;-)

(good suggestions so far... but keep them coming!)

I'm not sure of your taste, but I'd recommend Alicia Keys, Nelly Furtado and Smash Mouth if you like those genres.

okay so you should get those live phish cds that are really expensive. (if they have them...(

Try Enya's Watermark - Orinoco Flow and Storms in Africa especially. There's a good chance you already have this, but if not, and you don't like it, wrap it as a gift for nearly anyone else you know.

Oh, those BMG 1 deals! Or so they were last time I ever checked an ad.
If you don't have these, think about getting them:
Carole King's "Tapestry"
"The Best Of Carly Simon" - think that's the title.
Richard Marx - "Greatest Hits"
Goo Goo Dolls - "Dizzy Up The Girl"
Michelle Branch - "The Spirit Room"
Evan And Jaron - "Evan And Jaron"
And something you deem a guilty pleasure. After all, this is BMG you're talking about.

did i already ask you if you had the Pete Yorn cd?? i doubt you can get it on bmg, but i love it. it's the cd that broke my seemingly unending obsession with the cold play album. and he's HOT in the photos. is he dating minnie driver? why isn't he dating me?

You should get some Billy Holiday

BMG is picky since they don't carry a lot of good, popular artists (ie, no Beatles albums at all!) - I've been a member since 1997 and I still get lots of CDs elsewhere. But I know they have (and recommend!) India Arie, Barenaked Ladies, Radiohead and Outkast :)

well you can never go wrong with tom petty, i personally prefer the wildflowers cd. tragically hip road apples is pretty good too. but then again thats my taste who knows what kind of stuff you like ;)

I have no idea what kind of music you're into, or what BMG is (!), but I cannot stress how good The White Stripes are. I'm addicted. I just sit here at my computer listening to all three albums on an almost continous loop. Is that healthy?!
